2010 Purity Heritage Award

The Tennessee Valley Pioneer Power Association is proud to host
Somewhere in a fencerow sits a history lesson....

That’s the way we see it. A rusty tractor or a forgotten plow are not just hunks of scrap iron. They are a forgotten legacy. The Tennessee Valley Pioneer Power Association has long been dedicated to getting these relics out of the barns and fencerows and back into the public eye. We want to preserve the memories of the family farms and ranches that once dotted the rural landscape. That is why TVPPA is reaching out to FFA chapters with a tractor restoration challenge. FFA members help us find these hidden treasures and preserve the legacy of the hard-working farmer.

Find an antique tractor and restore it. Bring your tractor and some pictures of the work in progress to show at our Annual Pioneer Power Days September 10th-11th 2010 for a chance to win the Heritage Award.
The National FFA Organization and Tennessee Association FFA are not affiliated in any way with the coordinating, running or judging of this event and are not held responsible for any prizes or monetary awards associated with the event or its participants.
Good Luck to all the 2010 participants!
